Research Policy
I have promoted computer science methods aiming at discovering knowledge from data, so-called machine learning and data ming research. In particular, I have been trying practical research that emphasizes the application to fields other than information science.
I have applied ICT mainly to biological, medical and legal data. The researches have given me the challenging tasks of computer science. Then, I generalized the techniques specialized in each field.
The cycle between ICT and application is the policy of my research.
